BIG THANK YOU to everyone for your help with God's Work, Our Hands Sunday! In addition to stuffing MANY socks for homeless vets, several members cleaned the church building, helped with landscape clean up, called homebound members, delivered communion and collected pantry goods! We also were able to present a check to Table Grace Cafe for over $1,600!
You are the LIGHT of Christ to all!
Saturday, May 2 around 100 cars of the families we serve passed through the parking lot of Morning Star to wave, say a "distant" hello and be encouraged by our amazing teachers & staff!
Our annual Trunk or Treat event moved indoors due to cold weather. The indoor venue made it easier to see the great costumes. Many also ventured into our haunted basement, hosted by the Youth Group.
MSLC Youth Scholarships were awarded on Sunday, June 9, recognizing undergraduate students who participated in service programs during their middle school and high school year.
The program has awarded over $150,000 since its inception May 2014!
Congratulations Rachel, Mitchell, Rogan, Olivia, Hope, Sophie, and Campbell!
We also celebrated recent high school and college graduates.
Saturday, 6/8 was the official start to our Habitat Build for 2019. See more details and watch for progress updates on the outreach page
