This month we are having a Salisbury Steak luncheon with all the trimmings catered by Lil Willy’s. Agne Dizona with the Joslyn Art Museum will be with us to tell us of the history of the museum. RSVP to the Church Office by Friday, January 31.

Bible Classes

The Preschool (ages 3-K) and Third Grade Bible class will be held at 9:30 AM on Sunday, January 19.  All Bibles will be presented on Sunday, January 19 during the 10:30 AM Worship Service.  RSVP with the Church Office!

Youth Bell Ringers

A new “Ringing” class for kids ages 10-14 has started at Morning Star on Wednesdays at 5:45 PM. Consideration for another time may be given based on feedback from participants. Contact Tina if interested at 402-393-5553 or  tinafong@morningstaromaha.org.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is back at Morning Star! Master Frank Fong & Tina Fong are leading the Tai Chi class in the Welcome Center on Wednesdays at 10:30 AM. The class is adaptable for all ages and abilities. There is no charge. An offering will be taken.

Trunk or Treat

Our annual Trunk or Treat event moved indoors due to cold weather.  The indoor venue made it easier to see the great costumes.  Many also ventured into our haunted basement, hosted by the Youth Group.

Scholarships Awarded & Graduation Recognition

MSLC Youth Scholarships were awarded on Sunday, June 9, recognizing undergraduate students who participated in service programs during their middle school and high school year. 

 The program has awarded over $150,000 since its inception May 2014!

Congratulations Rachel, Mitchell, Rogan, Olivia, Hope, Sophie, and  Campbell!


We also celebrated recent high school and college graduates.
