The worship services are central to everything. We gather to praise God. We share the peace and each other's company as we "fill our tanks". We offer different services but celebrate as one community. To encourage children to attend the worship service, Sunday school is held in-between services. Between services is a gathering time when there is always a crowd relaxing in our welcome area for coffee and donuts. That time is also often a time for a quick Bible study or orientation of new members.
All of our services follow a Lutheran service order, which always includes a Gathering Time (with Confession & Forgiveness), Word (with readings from the Lectionary Calendar and the Pastor's sermon), Meal (with an offering and Communion served each week), and a Sending (with a blessing and dismissal).
"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."
Join our more intimate service at 5:30 PM on Saturday nights. This service is more casual and held in our chapel.
During our 8:30 service on Sundays you will usually hear the organ and recite the liturgy. Our adult choir and the bell choir also participate regularly.
During our 10:30 service you may hear guitars and other instruments as our praise team leads the service music.
Wear a tie or a t-shirt. Come and be comfortable. And be ready to stand-up, get in the aisle, and share the peace.
Children are welcome in the service. Nursery is provided if you prefer. Be sure to grab a child activity bag in the welcome area. A children's sermon is included in the service.
Additional services through-out the year - Lent, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, Day of Remembrance ... Watch the calendar for upcoming services.
Our sanctuary is equipped with a T-coil hearing loop to assist anyone with a compatible hearing aid.
The great joy of bringing children into the community of Christ and the pledging of marriage in the sight of God are celebrated.
Join us every week for the sharing of the Bread and Wine. Children are welcome to receive a blessing. If you believe, you are welcome at the table. Grape juice and gluten-free wafers are available.
