Join us Sunday, May 19 beginning at 10 AM as we celebrate Pentecost! We will confirm several students, enjoy a fellowship lunch together then have a Congregational Meeting!
Morning Star, along with four Omaha area Lutheran churches, have joined forces for VBS with "Camp Firelight: A Summer Camp Adventure with God"!
July 8th - 11th, 5:15 PM to 8 PM
at St. Timothy Lutheran Church (510 N. 93rd St.)
VBS is for children who are in PreK through the 5th Grade. Middle-High School students are welcome to participate as staff to make this a great learning experience for all.
Each evening begins with a simple meal provided in the Café for all participants and their families. We’ll begin Bible activities at 6 PM and rotate through story stations, craft activities, science experiments and of course games! Click below to register now so we can have all the supplies needed and be ready for a great week together.
Your Outreach Committee is gauging the congregation's interest in a future Morning Star Habitat build. You don't have to be a whiz with a hammer or power tool (though such skills are welcomed), just bring a willingness to be part of a team helping a vetted and committed family to realize their dream of
homeownership. Find the sign-up sheet in Fellowship Hall or contact Pam Chelesvig at 402-850-0914 or pchelesvig@gmail.com. Remember, this is just to indicate general interest, not a commitment to a specific date/time!
If you’re graduating this year, we want to know! Contact the Church Office to let us know where you’re graduating from, what your future plans are and send us a pic if you can.

Thank you to all who pitch in each and every week to help make worship happen! We could not do it without you! We always need help to read scripture, serve communion, usher/greet and set up and tear down worship every week. Very little commitment is needed! Contact the Church Office to find out how you can help!
For the month of May we will be collecting items that can be used by the individuals and families that Community Alliance serves. Bring your donations to the box in the fellowship hall. Your generous gift makes a real and powerful difference, whether that means helping someone to get the psychiatric or medical treatment they need, get off the street and into housing, find a job, or simply regain hope for their future. Suggested items:
The Church Office is open Monday-Fridays, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. The Church Office is closed on Tuesdays from 9:30-10:30 for staff meeting.

Artist and Pastor Paul Oman painted a larger-than-life sized mural right before our eyes as a story unfolded artistically, musically, narratively and Scripturally during the event. For
