God’s Work, Our Hands Sunday is September 7th!
The annual ELCA day of service is coming soon. There's something for everyone so join us for food, fellowship and service! See Pam Chelesvig to order your GWOH t-shirt by August 23!
Some of the activities planned are:
· Stuff a Sock for Veterans at New Horizons - Please donate deodorant, body wash, shampoo, razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shaving cream.
· Write Encouragement Letters to those on our prayer list.
· Support a Veteran with Cards for Honor Flight
· Write “Thinking of You” cards to Veterans hospitalized at VAMC
· Roll Habitat for Humanity T-Shirts
Barbeque
Enjoy the Barbeque and Potluck after service. The Outreach committee is providing grilled hamburgers and lemonade. Everyone else is asked to bring potluck side dishes and desserts (A-L bring sides, M-Z bring desserts).
T-Shirts
Place your order by August 23 by using the sign-up sheet at the credenza in the lobby. Short sleeve shirts are $12.95; long sleeve shirts are $16.95.
